JCMT Users Meeting 2025

July 1st:  Observatory business session, and Instrumentation and Star formation sessions
July 2nd:  High-Z/Cosmology, VLBI, Solar System/Star Formation II, and Milky Way/Extra Gal/Compact Object/Transient sessions
July 3rd: - Morning: Star Formation III session,
                  - Afternoon: Excursion to Thai National Radio astronomy Observatory, Huai Hong KhraiMae Pong, Doi Saket Distric (only for those who registered)
July 4th:  Lectures and Tutorials/Hands-on

  - Access: You can find a (airport or Grab) taxi at Chiang Mai International Airport, and it will take 5-10 min according to traffic situations.

[Guideline for Presentations]
- Oral presentations:  Allocated for a) an invited speaker or a large program speaker of 20 minutes, and b) a contributed oral speaker of 15 minutes. Each one of them includes 3 minutes Q&A as well. Please prepare the presentation file in PDF format as much as possible for the reason after-mentioned of uploading files in advance to a co-used laptop. 

- Poster presentations:  Please prepare each poster file with the printed size of "A0" for fitting to hang it on the poster board at the venue: 90 cm width x 120 cm height.

- Asking from LOC for file uploading in advance:  Please share each presentation file by all the presenters both of oral and poster styles with LOC by June 27th 2025 (Friday) through being attached via email or sharing the link to enable us to download the files to [email protected]. It will be helpful to reduce time lag by changing laptop of each presenter and to achieve tight schedule of this meeting. We might be able to accept files in other formats, e.g., pptx, but cannot ensure that there are no issues on the fonts in files and if might impact on the contents exceeding a slide size.
