Welcome to the website of the Thai National Astronomy Meeting 2007 (TNAM2007), which will be held from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 March 2007 at the Rose Garden Riverside, Nakorn Pathom. TNAM2007 is supported by the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand, Ministry of Science and Technology.
The meeting will be held as part of SIAM PHYSICS CONGRESS 2007 and will include a plenary talk, invited talks and oral presentations. There will be limited space for poster presentations. Topics include Astronomy & Astrophysics (including Cosmology) and Astronomy education.
- The 1st Meeting of the South-East Asian Astronomical Network (SEAAN), which aims to establish effective mechanisms for nurturing and sharing the development and experiences in astronomy research and education among South-East Asian countries. This idea was proposed to the international community in the SPS5, the 26th IAU GA in Prague in August 2006 by Assoc. Prof. Boonrucksar Soonthornthum, Director of the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT).
- NARIT and community Forum,
will include a presentation by Assoc. Prof. Boonrucksar Soonthornthum, Director of NARIT, on the current status of NARIT and open discussions on future Key Sciences of NARIT and Thai National Observatory.

Financial Supports
Limited funding and supports (e.g. registration fee, accommodation and domestic travelling expenses) will be provided by NARIT. Priority will be given to postgraduate students in order to encourage them to attend the meeting and presents their works. To apply for financial support, please send email directly to Dr. Busaba Kramer, together with title and abstracts, by February 5, 2007.
