General Information The 2nd SEAAN meeting aims to promote cooperation in the field of education, research and popularization of astronomy among Southeast Asian member countries. It will be divided into scientific and business sessions. The scientific session will include plenary and invited talks and oral and poster presentations. For the first time, a Southeast Asian Young Astronomy Collaboration (SEAYAC) will be established in a separate meeting.
Important Dates
30 December 2009, deadline for applying for financial support
08 January 2009, deadline for hotel reservation.
15 January 2009, deadline for registration and abstract submission.
Registration, Hotel Reservation & Abstract Submission
The organizers will not collect registration fee.
Please download registration form and hotel reservation form, and submit abstract to Dr. Cynthia P. Celebre, Philippine SPOC, through her email address cynthia_celebre@yahoo.com
Financial Support Limited funding support (e.g. accommodation) will be provided by the NOC. Priority will be given to postgraduate students in order to encourage them to attend the meeting and present their works. To apply for financial support, please complete application forms provided and send to Dr. Celebre through her email. Notice of Acceptance will be sent on or before 22 January 2010.
Venue and Hotel Accommodation The meeting will be held at Rizal Technological University, Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City, Philippines with website : http://www.rtu.edu.ph.
Hotel accommodation will be at New Horizon Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
