The participants are expected to pay for their travel to Chiang Mai and their accommodation, while NARIT will provide each day two coffee breaks and lunch during the workshop.

The targeted participants are the following:

• Graduate and final-year undergraduate students in Engineering, physics, Optics, Photonics and related domains.

• PhD students in Engineering, physics, Optics, Photonics and related domains.

• Researchers and Engineers in Engineering, physics, Optics, Photonics and related domains.

Prerequisite :

The minimum knowledge to attend the workshop is : good knowledge of geometrical and physical optics, including: paraxial optics  calculations, theory of diffraction effects and interferences.

A Basic knowledge of 3rd order aberration theory and a knowledge of 1 optical design software (ZEMAX preferred) would be profitable (but not mandatory) to attend the workshop.

Equipment: The attendees must bring 1 PC laptop with Windows, no MAC, no Linux with 1 Wi-Fi connection and 1 “Remote Desktop” application. This, in order to connect to 1 NARIT PC and to have access to the ZEMAX software.
