Realizing that astronomy is the most popular area of science among the public, NARIT's Office of Academic Service and Public Outreach employs various methods to promote astronomy culture, such as, providing news outlets with news about eclipses, meteors, comets, asteroids, along with major astronomical events.

NARIT also arranges for a spectacular range of events, such as the annual "Look for a Star Festival" during the months of December to March, staging outside talks, Astrophotography Competitions, Astronomy Workshop for Schoolteachers. Moreover, it also provides advisory services for amateur astronomers, and, from time to time, in coincidence with major astronomical events, publishes booklets on outstanding celestial events.

News on public outreach activities are reported as they happen. The upcoming activities will be announced at the homepage. For further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
