The participants are expected to pay for their travel to Chiang Mai, while NARIT will cover local expenses for accommodation.

The targeted participants are the following:

        • Graduate and final-year undergraduate students in Engineering, physics, Optics, Photonics and related domains.

        • PhD students in Engineering, physics, Optics, Photonics and related domains.

        • Researchers and Engineers in Engineering, physics, Optics, Photonics and related domains.

Prerequisite:

The minimum knowledge to attend the workshop is : good knowledge of geometrical and physical optics, including: paraxial optics  calculations, theory of diffraction effects and interferences.

A Basic knowledge of 3rd order aberration theory and a knowledge of 1 optical design software (ZEMAX preferred) would be profitable (but not mandatory)  to attend the workshop.

Equipment: The attendees must bring 1 laptop (PC with Windows, no Linux, no Mac) with 1 Wi-Fi connection and 1 “Remote Desktop”  application.
