The 2nd  NARIT International Astronomical Training Workshop (NIATW) will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and will be organized by the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT). It is co-sponsored by NARIT and by the International Training  Centre in Astronomy (ITCA) under the auspices of UNESCO. The theme of the Workshop will be "Observations and Data Handling Using Modern Instruments".

NARIT is a leading astronomical organization in Thailand and South-East Asia, with a lively scientific environment hosting both international and national research staff, postdocs, and students. NARIT manages several telescopes, including the flagship Thai National Observatory (TNO) with a new 2.4m telescope equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation. NIATW will capitalize on this opportunity for observations with a modern facility, the best available in South-East Asia.
