NARIT next step into Space Technology

Dr. Saran Poshyachinda NARIT Executive Director together with delegates from National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) and Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) had a great opportunity to meet with The Honourable  Martin Hamilton-Smith MP, Minister for Defence and Space Industries during the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2017.

 

The meeting was to discuss future collaboration between Thailand and Australia in development of Astronomy&Space Science and Technology in Thailand to drive the country to space territory according to Thailand 4.0 policy.  This year, IAC2017 is held at Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide, Australia during 25-29 September with dozens of top tier companies and government agencies involving in astronautical and space industry around the world such as NASA, JAXA, China Academy of Space Technology, International Astronautical Federation, United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, SpaceX, Virgin Galactic etc. come together to showcase their new technologies and share their vision for future space operations.
